parabolics, you’re working too hard! Atomic’s Nomad Blackeye measure
79mm under foot, making it over 1.5 cm wider than earlier shapes.
Blackeye is simply more stable and more buoyant.
Blackeye’s turning radius measure 17m – tighter than earlier shapes skis that averaged 20m. This sidecut represent an ideal compromise between turning and stability. Most skiers will ski Blackeye in a shorter 171cm length, making for even easier handling. Lastly, Blackeye is a full 1.5 pounds lighter (nearly 20%) than yesterday’s shapes.
